inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto welcomed Peruvian President Dina Ercilia Boluarte Zegarra to the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta on Monday (8/11/2025). The two leaders are to discuss cooperation between the two countries.

The welcoming ceremony began at the National Monument (Monas) intersection in Central Jakarta, where President Boluarte's vehicle was greeted by cavalry and escorted to the Merdeka Palace complex.

Beside the Merdeka Palace, President Prabowo, dressed in a light blue shirt, black jacket, greeted Boluarte and shook hands.

The two heads of state then proceeded to the terrace of the Merdeka Palace to witness the performance of the Guard of Honor and the firing of 21 cannons as a sign of state respect for the visiting heads of state.

President Boluarte arrived at approximately 10:07 a.m., welcomed by Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, Minister of Trade Budi Santoso, Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, and Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi.

Following the welcoming ceremony, President Prabowo and President Boluarte proceeded to the Credentials Room of the Merdeka Palace for a group photo and guest book signing.

President Prabowo then invited President Boluarte into his office for a closed-door bilateral meeting.

According to a statement from the Presidential Secretariat, the results of the meeting will be announced in a joint statement after the two heads of state have lunch.
