inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The national survey of the Indonesian Survey Circle (LSI Denny JA) shows that the government of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka has succeeded in gaining public support of 81.2 percent in the first seven months.

This high level of satisfaction is supported by a number of factors, one of which is the very strong level of personal popularity of President Prabowo. The LSI report noted that the level of public recognition of Prabowo reached 98 percent, while the level of liking for him reached 94.4 percent.

In addition, the majority of the public also considered that the Prabowo-Gibran government was on the right track.

"As many as 81 percent of respondents felt that Indonesia was on the right track," as quoted from LSI Denny JA, Thursday.

The survey was conducted on May 16-31, 2025, on 1,200 respondents throughout Indonesia, using the multi-stage random sampling method. This survey has a margin of error of ±2.9 percent, and is strengthened by qualitative research through in-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), expert judgment, and media analysis.

According to LSI Denny JA, the high level of support for this government is also inseparable from what is called the political honeymoon effect—a period of public tolerance for the new government that is still ongoing in the first 6-12 months. In addition, until now there has been no opposition force that is able to compete with the government's dominant narrative.

Despite challenges in the employment sector and the price of basic necessities, the majority of the public still trusts the current national leadership.

"The people already believe that this policy direction is correct. But they are also waiting for evidence: people's purchasing power is increasing, jobs are available, and life is a little more decent than yesterday," wrote LSI Denny JA in its report.
