Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto has ordered State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi to coordinate with ministries and agencies to review the absorption of regional transfer funds (TKD) as the fiscal year nears its end.

“Every rupiah of public money allocated must be used responsibly and on time, including regional funds which are also the people’s money,” Cabinet Secretary Lieutenant Colonel Teddy Indra Wijaya quoted the president as saying after a limited meeting at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base on Tuesday (11/11/2025), as reported by antaranews.com.

The two-hour meeting, held just before Prabowo’s departure for Australia, focused on national fiscal management and budget absorption. Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, and several top officials attended.

President Prabowo emphasized that state spending must remain accountable and deliver tangible benefits to citizens. The instruction to tighten oversight of regional transfer fund use signals the administration’s push to prevent idle funds and ensure timely execution of public programs before year-end.
