Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto has directed a temporary reduction in toll fees and airfare to facilitate public mobility during Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr this year

Speaking at a press conference at Halim Perdanakusuma Airbase, Jakarta, after returning from a retreat in Magelang on Friday (28/2/2025), he emphasized the government's commitment to ensuring seamless holiday travel.

“All relevant ministries will continuously monitor and optimize transportation and public services to accommodate the surge in travelers,” the president said, as quoted by antaranews.com.

The airfare discount will be in effect for two weeks, while toll fee reductions will apply on major highways during the Eid Al-Fitr and Balinese Hindu’s Nyepi day of silence holidays, which coincide this year.

President Prabowo has instructed the Ministers of Transportation, State-Owned Enterprises, and Public Works to supervise the implementation and ensure efficient travel infrastructure throughout the holiday period.
