Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa said President Prabowo Subianto has restored public optimism and positive sentiment toward the government over the past two months, supported by rising consumer confidence and stronger purchasing power.

“In the past two months, President Prabowo has succeeded in restoring optimism and positive sentiment among the public toward the government,” he told reporters at the Finance Ministry on Monday (27/10/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.

He said that the Public Confidence Index by the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) strengthened to 130.6 in October 2025, up from 117.3 in September. The Consumer Confidence Index also rose to 96, approaching the neutral level of 100, signaling improving household purchasing power.

Minister Purbaya said the rebound indicates growing trust in the administration’s economic direction and its success in maintaining stability. He added that the government will focus on strategic economic programs to sustain public optimism and long-term welfare.
