Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto visited Babelan, Bekasi, West Java on Saturday (8//3/2025)  to inspect flood-hit areas and interact with affected residents.

Arriving at around 5.57 pm, he walked through flooded neighborhoods, checking on residents who remained in their homes. He engaged directly with the community, inquiring about their well-being and immediate needs.

During the visit, President Prabowo also distributed food aid for Iftar in the spirit of Ramadan. He later joined residents in breaking the fast, sharing a moment of warmth amid the challenging conditions, according to a written statement received by antaranews.com.

Accompanied by Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, the President’s presence was expected to uplift the spirits of those facing hardship. Heavy rainfall over the past week has triggered flooding in several areas of Bekasi, with water levels yet to recede.
