inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Chief of the Presidential Staff Muhammad Qodari, paid a working visit to Aceh Tamiang Regency on Thursday (1/15/2026). During his visit, Qodari inspected several locations affected by the flood disaster to first-hand observe the conditions and post-disaster management and recovery efforts.
At the end of his visit, Qodari took the opportunity to inspect the planned construction site for permanent housing to be built by the Indonesian National Police (INP) for evacuees and flood survivors. The inspection took place in Simpang Kanan Village, Kejuruan Muda District, Aceh Tamiang Regency, accompanied by the Aceh Tamiang Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Muliadi.
During the inspection, Qodari directly observed the land preparation process as the initial stage of housing construction. He stated that based on information he received, INP will initially build approximately 150 permanent housing units.
"The information from the Police Chief earlier is that in the first phase they will construct around 150 units," said Qodari at the inspection site.
Qodari also expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all parties, especially INP, for their active involvement in the post-disaster recovery process in Aceh Tamiang.
"We would like to thank all parties, especially INP, for their significant participation in the post-disaster recovery, rehabilitation, and reconstruction efforts in Aceh, particularly in Aceh Tamiang Regency," he said.
He hopes that the entire process of constructing permanent housing will proceed safely and smoothly, providing maximum benefits to the disaster-affected community.
