Preventing the Spread of Covid-19, North Maluku Regional Police Holds Rapid Antigen Test at Tourist Attractions

Grand Comissioner Adip Rojikan said the rapid antigen test was carried out by the Task Force for routine activities to determine the health condition of tourists. "With the rapid antigen test, we can detect, track and treat early if a community is found to be positive for COVID-19," explained Pol. Grand Commissioner Adip Rojikan in Ternate, Sunday (05/23/21) According to the Middle Officer of the North Maluku Regional Police, the North Maluku Regional Police's Medicine and Health activity was led by the Head of Medic and Health, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Mintaryan Suryanto is assisted by the Vital Objects Security Task Force (Pamobvit), the North Maluku's Regional Police's Community Development Task Force. The implementation of the rapid antigen test conducted by the North Maluku's Regional Police is free of charge. The target is food traders and tourists, both local and outside the region. "On the Jikomalamo beach there were 81 visitors, while on Sulamadaha Beach there were 38 visitors. From the results of the inspection of visitors at the two tourist attractions, all were stated negative," explained the Head of PR, North Maluku Regional Police. The health checks are held so that visitors are comfortable traveling in the midst of the COVID -19 pandemic. Therefore, Pol. Grand Commissioner Adip Rojikan urged tourists to continue implementing health protocols to avoid the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
