Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto emphasized that the National Strategic Project (PSN) in the Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2 area in Tangerang, Banten, is exclusively focused on the development of the Tropical Coastland ecotourism project.

“The development of the Tropical Coastland ecotourism and creative economy will be financed by non-state budget funds, with a commitment from the proposing business entity to implement gradual development,” he said in a statement on Sunday (19/1/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.

With an investment of approximately Rp 65 trillion, the project is expected to create 6,235 direct jobs and an additional 13,550 jobs through its multiplier effect.

The PSN will involve a green area and eco-city project covering around 1,755 hectares, designed as a new ecotourism destination to attract tourists.

Haryo Limanseto, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Economic Affairs, clarified that the PSN project is not related to the recently viral illegal sea fence.
