inp.polri.go.id – Manado. The Chief of North Sulawesi Regional Police (Kapolda North Sulawesi), Pol. General Inspector Nana Sujana, led the closing ceremony for the establishment of the National Police NCO (Diktukba) for the 2020/2021 Fiscal Year at the Tribrata Field of the State's Police Education School (SPN) of North Sulawesi Regional Police. A total of 317 students were appointed as the second Police Brigadier (Bripda).
The event was also attended by the Deputy Chief of North Sulawesi Regional Police, Pol. Brigadier General Rudi Darmoko, Chief of the North Sulawesi's Police Education School, Great Captain Sucahyo Hadi, Regional Police's High Rank Executives and Bhayangkari.
The closing of the NCO Formation Education as well as the inauguration of students to become members of the National Police were marked by the removal of the student rank marks, the installation of effective rank marks, the presentation of certificates of appreciation and the awarding of medals to 3 student representatives by North Sulawesi Regional Police Chief, followed by taking the oath as members of the National Police and signing the Minutes.
The North Sulawesi Regional Police Chief conveyed the message of the National Police Chief to congratulate the Police Youth NCOs who have successfully completed the education for the formation of the National Police Officers for the 2020/2021 budget year, becoming members of the National Police with the rank of Police Brigadier Two.
With the end of this education program, the National Police has succeeded in adding 11,198 NCO rank-and-file personnel, consisting of 10,638 male police officers and 560 female police officers, throughout Indonesia.
“This is certainly a strategic force to support the implementation of the National Police's duties to be more optimal. Through this increase in the number of personnel, it is hoped that the distribution of public services will be wider, and the presence of the police in the midst of the social environment will be increasingly felt by the community, "explained the North Sulawesi Police Chief.
The Regional Police Chief hopes that this inauguration means that the identity and honor of the profession as well as the duties and responsibilities as Bhayangkara Negara are required to always be able to be actualized in every attitude, speech and behavior of life, both in service and outside of service, so that they could become examples and role model for society.
“Their presence will be a reflection of National Police's service as a whole. I hope this Young NCO is able to change the face of the National Police into a Police that meets the expectations of the community, a Police that fulfills the expectations of the people by being oriented to the interests of the community, based on fair law, respecting human rights and overseeing the democratic process, " explained the North Sulawesi Regional Police Chief.
