Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Shell Indonesia has denied rumors that it plans to close all of its gas stations in the country, emphasizing its ongoing commitment to operating its retail network.
“The information circulating about Shell closing all gas stations in Indonesia is not true. We remain focused on the operations of our gas stations for our customers,” said Susi Hutapea, the Vice President of Corporate Relations for Shell Indonesia, in a statement on Sunday (24/11/2024) .
The clarification follows market speculation and reports on Saturday suggesting the company’s potential withdrawal from its retail fuel distribution business in Indonesia, according to antaranews.com.

“We cannot comment on market speculation. However, Shell Indonesia remains dedicated to its current operations,” Susi reiterated, as reported by antaranews.com..
