inp.polri.go.id - Banjarmasin. The South Kalimantan Regional Police Food Task Force Team checked the price stability and availability of basic necessities at the Old Market in Banjarmasin, including packaging of Minyakita cooking oil at the Harum Manis Bersatu Banjarmasin Consumer Cooperative, Monday (4/21/2025).
The inspection was conducted by the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation and the Directorate of Police Uniformed Unit of the South Kalimantan Regional Police to ensure the availability of stocks of basic necessities, including Minyakita cooking oil, and to monitor the stability of prices in the market after Eid al-Fitr. This aims to prevent hoarding and price speculation practices that can harm the community.
"We continue to monitor the supply and prices of basic necessities, including Minyakita, to ensure they remain stable and affordable. The public is expected not to worry because stocks in the market are still safe and prices are still stable even though there have been some increases in commodities," said Police Senior Inspector Krismandra.
Krismandra also said that the team also coordinated with traders and cooperative managers to ensure smooth distribution. People who find price abnormalities or shortages of goods are advised to report to the authorities.
This activity is part of the South Kalimantan Regional Police's efforts to maintain food security and protect the community from unhealthy economic practices.
