Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Bhayangkara Presisi FC's Chief Operating Officer, Senior Superintendent Sumardji, revealed on Tuesday (22/4/2025) that the club is open to recruiting Indonesian national team players who have not been getting enough playing time at their current clubs for the upcoming Liga 1 season.
Players such as Shayne Pattynama, Nathan Tjoe-A-On, and Rafael Struick are reportedly among those considered.
Sumardji emphasized that the decision to recruit these players depends on their willingness to join Bhayangkara.
"It all depends, if it's possible and they are willing to join Bhayangkara, we would be happy," he said during the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing event between Bhayangkara and the Lampung administration in Jakarta.
The club has already been in talks with several national team players, although Sumardji declined to disclose names. He also said that if any of the national team players decide to join Bhayangkara, it would be a welcome addition.
Bhayangkara is exploring the possibility of bringing back Saddil Ramdani, who is currently a free agent after four years with Sabah FC in Malaysia.
