South Sumatra Regional Police Sends Aids for Batu Gajah Lama Flood Affected Community

Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The South Sumatra Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Albertus Rachmad Wibowo sends 480 humanitarian aids and hundreds of mineral waters to people affected by flood in Batu Gajah Lama Village in Muratara Regency on Monday (1/1/2024). “This is part of our duty and responsibility towards the people affected by disasters. We pray that those affected by the disaster would be given strength and soon able to return to their daily activities,” says Muratara Sub-regional Police, Superintendent Koko Arianto Wardani. Meanwhile, Head of Public Information Division Senior Superintendent Yenni Diary also conveys her words of encouragement towards the affected community. She prays for the well-being of the affected people and reminds them to stay cautious with any disaster potentials. “Our aids hopefully would help you in fulfilling your daily needs,” says Yenni. Community representatives were seen accepting the aid and says they are thankful with police initiative in lending their hands to the people of Batu Gajah Lama Village. (ad/rz/pr/nm)
