Head of Public Relations of the South Sumatra Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Supriadi explained that the South Sumatra Resort Departemental Police and the ranks of the Resort Departemental Police in the jurisdiction of South Sumatra continue to try to eradicate drug networks in the area.
On the first Sunday of October 2021, the South Sumatra Regional Police's Directorate of Drugs Investigation, together with Resort Departemental Police and other ranks of the Resort Police, arrested dozens of narcotics suspects.
Based on the reports we received from the Directorate of Drugs Investigation and Resort Police that there were 46 drug suspects arrested this first Sunday, 42 of them were dealers, and two others were users, said the South Sumatran Regional Police Intermediate Officer, Monday (10/11/21).
Evidence of narcotics types of methamphetamine as much as 335.69 grams, 573.13 marijuana and 69 items of ecstasy.
"We will continue to take action against drug networks in South Sumatra. We even urge the Resort Departemental Police, and Resort Police ranks to continue improving their performance in eradicating drug networks," said the Head of Public Relations of the South Sumatra Regional Police.
