inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Special Detachment (Densus) 88 Anti-terror of Indonesian National Police again arrested three suspected terrorists. One of them was arrested in the North Bekasi area, Bekasi, West Java, on Friday (10/9/2021) this morning.
Head of General Information of the Public Relations Division of the Indonesian National Police, Police Grand Commissioner Ahmad Ramadhan, explained that the arrested terrorist suspects were from the Jamaah Islamiyah (JI) group.
"There have been arrests of three people (suspected terrorists); these are the JI group," explained the Head of General Information of the Public Relations Division of the Indonesian National Police to reporters Friday afternoon (10/9/21).
The Head of General Information of the Public Relations Division of the Indonesian National Police said the two suspected terrorists were arrested in the North Bekasi area, West Java, while one was arrested in Jelambar, Grogol Petamburan sub-district, West Jakarta. All of these arrest operations were carried out in a marathon this Friday morning.
The three suspected terrorists had the initials MEK, S and SH. However, the Head of General Information of the Public Relations Division of the Indonesian National Police revealed that SH, arrested in West Jakarta, was Jamaah Islamiyah (JI) officials.
"SH is one of JI's syuro councils," said the Head of General Information of the Public Relations Division of the Indonesian National Police.
The three suspected terrorists have been taken to the Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police for an intensive investigation and deepening. Meanwhile, the confiscated evidence, the Head of General Information of the Public Relations Division of the Indonesian National Police, said that it could not be submitted because the Regional Task Force of Special Detachment of the Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police team was still investigating the crime scene.
