inp.polri.go.id - South Kalimantan. The commitment of the South Kalimantan Regional Police in maintaining the stability of food security in this province has received high appreciation from the Regional Government.
The institution has received awards directly from the Governor of South Kalimantan for the performance of the Food Task Force which was deemed successful in contributing to achieving corn self-sufficiency.
The awards were given at a Simultaneous Corn Seeding for the Fourth Quarter at the South Kalimantan Regional Police Food Security Land on Wednesday (10/8/2025).
The Head of South Kalimantan Regional Police Public Relations, Senior Superintendent Adam Erwandi says that Chief Rosyanto Yudha Hermawan highlights the award as a motivation for his party and ranks to continue innovating.
“This is certainly not the end but the beginning of our commitment to continue supporting the government’s national food security program. The existence of our land is not only optimized for corn plantings but also as the ground to train and educate the local farmers,” says Adam.
He explained that the involvement of police personnel in farming is part of an effort to build stronger relationships with the community and contribute to regional development in the non-conventional sector.
