inp.polri.go.id - Palangka Raya. The Central Kalimantan Regional Police officially started the 2024 Operation Lilin Telabang to secure the 2024 Christmas and New Year 2025.

“The operation is focused on securing the Christmas and New Year holiday through prevention efforts in providing security and service to the general public,” says the Head of Central Kalimantan Regional Police Public Relations, Senior Superintendent Erlan Munaji on Friday (12/20/2024).

The objects of security in this operation are places of worship, homecoming travelers, and tourist attractions. He ensured that the police will guarantee the safety of the community, especially those celebrating Christmas and New Year.

This operation involved 1,779 joint personnel with personnel consisting of 106 personnel from the Central Kalimantan Regional Police, 623 personnel from the ranks of Sub-regional Police, and 1,050 related agencies such as the military.

"In this operation, we also established 23 security posts, 14 service posts, and 10 integrated posts," explained the Head of Public Relations.
