inp.polri.go.id -  Although not directly involved, the Riau Islands Regional Police have contributed to welcoming the G20 Summit which will be held on 15-16 November 2022 in Nusa Dua Bali. One of the things that the Riau Islands Police did in welcoming the G20 Summit was to increase routine police activities, including balancing and maintaining security stability in the Riau Islands Province. Head of Public Relations, Commissioner Harry Goldenhardt said, during the G20 Summit, the Riau Islands Regional Police would increase security operations in the community. "This is an order from the Chief of Police to the Regional Police Chiefs during the G20 Summit in Bali. All police members must maintain a conducive safe situation, no special activities," said the Head of Riau Police Public Relations quoted from Tribunnews, Sunday (11/13/22). In his briefing, the National Police Chief asked the ranks of all Regional Police that are not directly involved with G20 Summit to increase their security operations to maintain security and order stability in the community. “The G20 Summit is an important event for the state. It needs support from all elements of society to succeed the event to boost our country’s reputation in the world, "said the Head of Public Relations.
