inp.polri.go.id – The Special Task Force of the Corruption Crimes Prevention of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) went directly to Lampung to oversee the distribution of subsidized fertilizer and cooking oil in the area.
"We are carrying out the orders from the Indonesian National Police Chief to supervise the distribution of subsidized fertilizers and cooking oil directly, one of which is in Lampung," said the Head of the Special Task Force of Corruption Prevention of Polri, Hotman Tambunan, in Bandarlampung, Monday (18/04). /22).
Hotman Tambunan said that during his visit, the Task Force would oversee the existence of a tendency for corruption in the daily supply of commodities and subsidized fertilizers in Lampung.
"We want to see if there is an opportunity for corruptors in the supply of basic commodities such as meat, cooking oil, and fertilizer. We are trying to prevent this so that the subsidies given by the government are not misused," he said.
According to Hotman Tambunan, the police have received reports from the Lampung provincial government and the Lampung Regional Police related to the distribution of subsidized fertilizers and daily supplies which in the last week experienced a price spike.
"We have received information and reports from the department and related parties regarding this distribution. And tomorrow we will go to Central Lampung and East Lampung Regencies to look for other information and data," he explained.
