inp.polri.go.id - The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police's Medical and Health Sector Team has intensified socialization about Food and Mouth Disease to suppress the number of cases in the region. Head of Public Relations of the NTB Police, Commissioner Artanto said that the targets of this socialization were farmers and abattoirs. "In this activity, the team disseminated information by giving an education on how to anticipate and deal with the FMD," said Commissioner Artanto, Saturday (08/06). The team held the socialization in the Majeluk area, Mataram City. "In yesterday's activity, the team also sprayed disinfectant and decontamination on the pen, equipment, vehicles, and other equipment that might transmit FMD disease to the livestock," said the NTB Regional Police Intermediate Officer. Through these activities, the team also conducted observations and traces of livestock distribution routes.
