inp.polri.go.id -  The Drug Investigation Directorate of Lampung Police held a Press Conference at the hall of Drug Investigation Directorate regarding their disclosure on 16.035 grams of methamphetamine trafficking. The press conference was led directly by the Director of Drugs Investigation of Lampung Police, Commissioner Aris Supriyono, accompanied by the Head Sub-Director of Public Information, AKBP Rahmad Hidayat and Head Sub-Director I of Drugs Investigation Directorate, AKBP Ujang Supriyanto. "We reveal this case based on Police Report number: LP-A/1018/IX/2022/SPKT. Ditresnarkoba / Lampung Police, on September 11, 2022. From the arrest we managed to secure one man with the initials AZ," explained Director of Drugs and Drugs at the Lampung Police. AZ was arrested on Proklamasi Street, Seputih Jaya Village, Gunung Sugih District, Central Lampung, on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at around 01.00 WIB. The Director of Drug Investigation of the Lampung Police explained that from the results of their investigation on the suspect AZ, they have found nine plastic wraps labeled "qing shan" containing 9,075 grams of methamphetamine, five plastic packets with green tape containing 5,555 gram of methamphetamine, six plastic packets with clear white duct tape containing 625 grams of methamphetamine, six plastic packets with brown tape containing 575 grams of methamphetamine, and six large clear plastic clips containing 205 grams of methamphetamine. "The suspect is from Al Manar street, Klumpang Village, Hamparan Perak, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra Province," explained Commissioner Aris Supriyono. The suspect will be charged with Article 114 paragraph (2) of Law no. 35 of 2009 regarding narcotics, where the perpetrators can be sentenced to death, life imprisonment, or imprisonment for a minimum of six years and a maximum of twenty years. Then the Director of Drugs and Drugs at the Lampung Police explained, subsidiary to Article 112 paragraph (2) of Law no. 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics, the perpetrator can be sentenced to life imprisonment or a minimum imprisonment of 5 (five) years and a maximum of 20 (twenty) years, he concluded. Then the Director of Drugs Investigation of the Lampung Police explained, that subsidiary to Article 112 paragraph (2) of Law no. 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics, the perpetrator can be sentenced to life imprisonment or a minimum imprisonment of five years and a maximum of twenty years, he concluded.
