Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian Military (TNI) will give away 200 motorbikes as door prizes during its 80th anniversary celebration at the National Monument (Monas) square, Central Jakarta, on Sunday.
“There will be 200 motorbikes, refrigerators, and TVs, it’s a good treat for the public,” said TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto during a press briefing at Monas on Saturday (4/10/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
He added that the event will feature cultural performances from across Indonesia, a major military equipment exhibition, and a parade open for the public to enjoy free of charge.
TNI will also distribute free meals and food coupons as part of the festivities. Commander Agus expressed hope that the celebration will proceed smoothly and safely.
The 80th anniversary event will showcase 1,047 land, sea, and air defense systems, involving 133,480 personnel, including soldiers, pilots, paratroopers, and civilian staff, in one of the largest military parades in Indonesia’s history.
