Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP)’s Traffic Corps on Friday (12/12/2025) dispatched 25 patrol cars and 1,500 food aid packages to disaster-affected areas in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra to support emergency response and community services.
“Today we are deploying 25 patrol cars, distributed to West Sumatra, Medan, and Aceh,” said Traffic Chief Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho, as cited by antaranews.com.
The assistance was sent from the Traffic Headquarters Headquarters and aims to strengthen mobility, security, and public service operations in affected regions. The patrol cars will support local police duties, while food packages are intended for displaced residents and responders.
Chief Agus said the deployment reflects the traffic police’s humanitarian commitment during disasters. Additional donated supplies, including food from community groups, were also delivered.
The release ceremony was held through an official roll call attended by senior Traffic Corps officers and Bhayangkari representatives. The convoy departed Jakarta in stages toward the three provinces
