inp.polri.go.id - Tulangbawang Sub-regional Police launched 2024 Election Peaceful Village in realizing a peaceful and safe election. “The peace election village is the first of its kind in Lampung and Tulang Bawang Regency. It is also part of the ‘cooling system’ to realize a peaceful and secure election,” said Tulang Bawang Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent James H Hutajulu on Sunday (2/4/2024). James says his party is securing the 2024 Election process and reminds the public that differences in election is a normal thing. Furthermore, he invites all parties to united in defending state integrity. “With this election peaceful village, we hope it would become the pilot project for other villages,” hoped. On the other hand, Election Peaceful Village is the village who have declared their commitment and vows to support the peaceful and safe election, and maintain the harmony in societal differences. Furthermore, there are several requirements that has to be met for villages in becoming Election Peaceful Village such as having ethnic, religious, cultural, racial and inter-group diversity, high religious moderation, as well as commitment and pledge to support safe and cool elections.
