inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President of the Turkish Defense Industry Secretariat (Savunma Sanayii Baskanligi/SSB) Haluk Gorgun met with President Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Friday (5/16/2025) evening, discussing strengthening the potential partnership between the two countries.

Based on Gorgun's upload on his official Instagram account (@halukgrgn), he said that the meeting was intensive and very productive.

"We held an intensive and very productive meeting with our friendly country Indonesia in order to further deepen the potential for cooperation in the defense industry," he said.

Gorgun expressed his honor at being received directly by President Prabowo.

In the meeting, he said that in line with the vision of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his strong support for the Turkish defense industry, the two parties conducted a comprehensive evaluation to turn strategic collaboration into concrete projects.

Gorgun said that as the President of the Turkish Defense Industry, he is committed to following up on the planned projects and seeking sustainable cooperation between the two countries.

"We are always following up on the projects that have been and are being planned to be implemented, and continue to strive to turn the cooperation into a sustainable partnership," he said.
