Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The West Jakarta Health Office has reported three suspected cases of Monkeypox (Mpox), with lab results pending confirmation.
"These are suspected cases; we are awaiting laboratory results," said West Jakarta Health Office Head, Erizon Safari, on Friday (30/82024).
One of the three patients is currently hospitalized, while the other two are self-isolating at home. Details on their symptoms have not been disclosed.
Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin has emphasized that the Mpox vaccine remains targeted at specific groups, particularly those with HIV. He reassured the public that vaccine supplies are adequate and urged continued adherence to good hygiene practices.
