inp.polri.go.id – In the latest development of Subang case, the West Java Police Chief, Inspector General Suntana, said that there is a shed of light in revealing this case.
It has been almost a year since Tuti Suhartini (55) and her son Amalia Mustika Ratu (23) were found dead in the trunk of an Alphard car on August 18, 2021, while the culprit still roam free.
For almost a year the police have examined 121 witnesses and examined more than 216 items of evidence at 10 different crime scenes.
In fact, the police had an open case with the National Police Commission and the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation, but the case has still not been solved yet.
After quite a long time, finally good news recently came from the West Java Police Chief, stated that their investigators have found a shed of light in this case.
"We ask for your support and prayers. Recently, there was a shed of light in revealing this case. Hopefully we can solve this case," said the Two-Star General.
"The disclosure of this murder case is different from other murder cases. In this case, in-depth proof is needed. Because the case was discovered several hours after the incident and there was minimal evidence," said the West Java Police Chief.
He also said that every murder case is fairly easy and difficult.
"In the criminal process, especially the occasional murder, some can be found in a matter of half an hour, and in a matter of days the perpetrators can be found. But in certain cases the police must first collect evidence found in various ways so that it can lead to the suspect," said the former Lampung Police Chief.
So, he continued, it does not mean that the police are ignoring this case. But the police are still trying to solve this case.
He guaranteed that the West Java Police investigators will continue to collect evidence in various ways so that the case can be revealed.
He also expressed his gratitude to the people who always follow the Subang case.
