West Kotawaringin Sub-regional Police dispatch patrol and security unit to logistic warehouse of Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) and General Election Commission (KPU). “The patrol is to ensure the security of election vital object. Moreover, this is to also intensify our patrol and monitoring in the area,” says West Kotawaringin Police Chief, Police Grand Commissioner Adjutant Bayu Wicaksono on Wednesday (12/6/2023). On the activity, patrol unit is focusing on preventive measure in realizing public safety and security. “The operation will be carried out routinely and continuously to provide a sense of safety and security to the general public amidst the euphoria of 2024 General Election in West Kotawaringin,” explained Bayu. Moreover, personnel also implored KPU logistic officials to immediately report any suspicious activity around the vicinity as police intensify security around the warehouse ahead election.
