West Nusa Tenggara Police Held Large Scale Rally to Fight Against Drugs

inp.polri.go.id - To make the program of Drugs Free Region a success in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), the NTB Regional Police held a large scale rally which was held at the Tribun Bhara Daksa Field of the NTB Police HQ, Thursday (15/09/22). The rally was attended by the Head of the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency and his entourage, the NTB Police Chief, the NTB Deputy Governor, members of the NTB Regional Leadership Coordination Forum and the entire main officials of NTB Police. The rally were also attended by the personnel of the Indonesian Army, Government, Police, Community Organizations, as well as groups of students with each of them sending a platoon. The Head of the National Narcotics Agency, Commissioner General Petrus Reinhard Golose, in his speech stated that he appreciated the rally of War on Drugs, which is the first time it has been held in Indonesia. This is a concrete manifestation of the NTB government and its people in their efforts to eradicate drug trafficking. "Thank you to the NTB Police Chief and the NTB Deputy Governor who attended this big rally. Hopefully with our determination to fight drugs, we can achieve our joint goal. This rally is certainly a good example for other regions,” he said. Meanwhile, the NTB Police Chief, Inspector General Djoko Poerwanto, explained that fighting against drugs abuse is the responsibility of all Indonesians. He also stated that they will support fully the program that has been planned by the related institution. "Moreover, during the ceremony, all of us have made a vow that we must all fight against drug abuse that happen around us," he concluded.
