Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. West Papua Regional Police Chief Inspector General Jhonny Edison Isir held meetings with West Papua General Election Commission (KPU) and the commissioners of Teluk Bintuni KPU and Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu). The meeting aims to better inform Jhonny with various issues faced in election in Teluk Bentuni so that his force could better prepare in anticipating the challenges. “Teluk Bintuni KPU maybe could mapped various regions that will require our special attention, particularly the polling stations that have experienced re-voting, follow-up voting and others," explained the Jhonny on Saturday (27/1/24). Moreover, Jhonny also curious with the number of people participation in election from the previous election. This, said Jhonny, would serve as an evaluation for his party and election organizers to better improve their preparation for this year. Jhonny hopes that his party would better secure the election process, including election logistic distribution, better in this year. “KPU and Bawaslu hopefully could distribute the election logistics through more efficient ways so that we from the police force could escort you better,” conclude the police chief.
