Inp.polri.go.id – Keerom. The Keerom Sub-regional Police, along with the local community, moved a fallen tree that has blocked Trans Papua traffic road on Saturday (1/27/2024). Previously, due to downpour and strong winds in the area, a huge tree fell and blocked the road, causing disruptions in the area. People then immediately report the situation to the local police and immediately came to the location to move the tree which also hits the electric cables. Fortunately, no fatalities reported. Before the tree was moved, police contacted PLN to cut the cables hit by the tree to anticipate any dangers. Fallen trees in traffic road has become usual phenomenon in Keerom Regency considering there are forests and huge trees around the traffic. Police thanked the people for moving the trees together and maintain the situation in the area until the evacuation process is over. (ad/ek/pr/nm)
