Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) has appointed female officers to several strategic positions, ranging from regional police deputy chief to sub-regional police chiefs, as part of the year-end personnel rotation issued in a telegram on 15 December 2025.
“Rotation is normal within the INP. It serves career development, enhances professionalism, and optimizes public service,” said Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, the INP Public Relations Division Head of Public Information Bureau, on Saturday (20/12/2025).
Brigadier General Dr. Sulastiana has been appointed the West Papua Regional Police Chief. In addition, 17 female officials received promotions to Senior Superintendent, many serving as Directors for the Protection of Women and Children (PPA) and Human Trafficking Eradication (PPO) across major regional police units, including the Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police, the West Java Regional Police, the Central Java Regional Police, the East Java Regional Police, the North Sumatra Regional Police, the South Sumatra Regional Police, and and regional police across eastern Indonesia.
Six female officers have also been appointed as sub-regional police chiefs in Karimun, Majalengka, Batang, Tebing Tinggi, Purbalingga, and Samosir. Overall, 35 female officers received promotions, reflecting the INP;s commitment to stronger leadership and a more human-centered approach in public safety.
