Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is offering local philanthropic organizations options to collaborate with Turkish humanitarian groups in delivering aid to Palestine.

"We recently met with a Turkey-based humanitarian organization that proposed a distribution channel, particularly for cash assistance," said Ahrul Tsani Fathurrahman, the Director for the Middle East at the Foreign Ministry, on Wednesday (26/3/2025).

Cash donations would be used to purchase essential supplies inside Gaza, where some businesses can still import goods despite ongoing conflict.

"Prices are higher, but some areas manage to bring in supplies for local distribution," he explained, as quoted by antaranews.com.

Due to restrictions imposed by Israeli authorities, many aid efforts face challenges. Ahrul urged Indonesian philanthropic groups to unite and coordinate nationally to streamline aid delivery.
