inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Riau Regional Police seized 15 branded goods from one of Secretariat of the Riau Regional People's Representative Council (Setwan) freelancers, MS, in the case of fictitious official travel orders.

The Head of Riau Regional Police Public Relations Division, Senior Superintendent Anom Karibianto says that the case is currently handled by the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate of Riau Regional Police.

During examination, MS states that she bought the goods with her own money, however police suspect that the fund was coming from the fictitious official travel orders.

“We strongly believe that the fund was coming from another witness and the fund was used to buy the goods,” says Anom on Thursday (10/10/2024).

The 15 items consist of seven bags of Louis Vuitton, Dior, Balenciaga, Saint Laurent. There are also four sandals from Louis Vuitton, Hermes, and Gucci.

"In addition, there are four shoes of Roger Vivier, Prada, and Dior," said Anom. All of these items are estimated to be worth IDR 395 million and have now been designated as evidence.

In addition, the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation has also examined 32 witnesses out of 404 witnesses registered in this case.

“There is a possibility that more witnesses will be added for this case as the investigation process continues,” concludes Anom.
