inp.polri.go.id - East Nusa Tenggara. East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Regional Police Chief Inspector General Rudi Darmoko presented awards to 46 outstanding and inspiring police officers. They received the awards for their social commitment to the community in the province.
"I am honestly touched and proud of the work of these police officers in NTT," he explained, as quoted by Antara, Tuesday (2/24/2026).
Several of the officers who received the awards are police officers who, while working as police officers, also make time for social causes, such as establishing orphanages, developing early childhood education (PAUD), helping improve the community's economy, and more.
He believes these positive activities will inspire police officers, both within the NTT Regional Police and the general public, to do even better. Rudi stated that he has instructed all police chiefs within the area to pay attention to and support police officers who contribute positively to the community.
"I have instructed the police chiefs to support them as their leaders and not leave them alone, especially during this holy month of Ramadan," he said.
Addressing the students, the police chief also acknowledged that his personnel still have many shortcomings. However, he assured them that the NTT Regional Police are slowly working to improve.
