The Indonesian National Police (INP) held a rally of Aman Bacuya Operation at East Java Regional Police field on Thursday (11/9/2023) as the final preparation for FIFA U-17 World Cup. The rally was led directly by INP Criminial Investigation Unit Chief, Commissioner General Wahyu Widada as the Head Ops of Aman Bacuya. Wahyu read the INP Mandate which emphasize the importance of being aware with every threat potential, however small it is. He also asked INP and the Indonesian Military Force (TNI), as well related stakeholders to stay vigilant in every situation. “Several highlights that has to be paid attention has to be carried out with full responsibility. The security carried out also has to be in accordance to INP Regulation number 10 of 2022. Paid attention to every potential threat in any situation. We have to always be vigilant in all situation,” he explains. When the operation is running, Wahyu says the police will anticipate several security disturbance potentials such as crowded people, traffic congestion, commotion during the match, firecrackers, provocative banners, and violence against committee. FIFA U-17 World Cup will be held with 24 states participating in the tournament. The football matches will be held in four stadiums which are Jakarta International Stadium, Sijalak Harupat Stadium, Manahan Stadium, and Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium. As the tournament went on, Police will carry out Aman Bacuya security operation which will be held from November 10th to December 4th. (ad/rd/pr/nm)
