Anticipate the Spread of Covid-19, Chief of East Java Regional Police Checked the Insulation Post

After visiting the insulation post in Sidoarjo, the Chief of East Java Regional Police and High-rank Executives of East Java Regional Police monitored the checkpoint located at Pacet area, Mojokerto, Friday (14 May 2021). The visit was also part of admonishing personnel in Mojokerto to monitor the security at travel destinations and markets. In his visit, the Chief of East Java Regional Police mentioned that the monitoring conducted in related to insulation at several points in East Java, the implementation of security activity at traditional markets and malls, which become people’s destination, tourism destination as well as a religious tourism destination. The activity was undertaken as part of the action to reduce the spread of Covid-19 after Eid 2021. “I see the good effort of all officers in duty. There is a synergy of Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and Indonesian National Police, with the support of Municipal Police (Satpol PP) and other stakeholders,” as explained by the Chief of East Java Regional Police. The Chief of East Jave regional police also mentioned that raising awareness on the dangers of Covid-19 need to be kept sounding. “Community awareness is required in facing the Covid. During this holiday occasion, health protocol must be prioritized,” as mentioned by the Chief of East Java Regional Police. He also mentioned three crucial points to suppress the increase of Covid-19 during the Ied holiday. “There are three important points. The first one is an officer. The second one, management of tourist destination and religion destination, and markets, and the third one is the public itself,” he added. “Let’s protect ourselves, let’s protect our community, and let’s protect our nation by obeying the health protocol. I hope East Java is safe,” as said by the Chief of East Java Regional Police.
