inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police Headquarters has reactivated Safe Operation Nusa II throughout Indonesia. This operation is an operation for disaster relief, including flooding, carried out by the Indonesian National Police.
Head of Public Information Bureau Indonesian National Police Public Relations Division, Police Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono, said the operation was a routine operation carried out by the Indonesian National Police. Entering the rainy season, Rusdi said that his party anticipated natural disasters by carrying out these operations.
"This is something that is routinely done when the climate change is approaching from dry to rainy, which tends to cause a lot of problems with natural disasters such as landslides and floods," explained Police Brigadier General Rusdi, Saturday (11/13/21).
Head of Public Information Bureau Indonesian National Police Public Relations Division explained that this operation was carried out at the Indonesian National Police Headquarters level to the smallest level in areas such as Sectoral Police. The Indonesian National Police themselves are said to have prepared for this operation long before it was reactivated.
"So it just needs to be implemented," said the One Star General.
The Head former of Operational Development Bureau for Indonesian National Police Operations Staff explained how this operation worked. If they received information on disaster points, including floods, the police would come down to help flood victims.
The Indonesian National Police will use their equipment to coordinate with relevant stakeholders for handling the flood.
"Now they have begun to anticipate if there is a (moving) disaster, they are also preventing mitigation from reminding the public about anticipating the disaster," concluded the graduate from the Indonesian Armed Forces Academy in 1991.
