Inp.polri.go.id – Bali. Asian African Legal Consultative Organization (AALCO) has determine Bali to be their 61st meeting place. The forum has taken historical steps for inter-continental law enforcement cooperation, where they would current global issues, including the war of Israel-Palestine.
Bali Police Public Relations states that the Puri Agung VIII Operations from October 16th-20th has deployed 761 personnel to secure the 61st AALCO.
“The security operation has been carried out optimally by involving task force who has operating according to the SOP, and collaborates with Indonesian Military Force and related stakeholders. The measure was taken to ensure AALCO would be going smoothly and success with the delegates feeling safe and secure during their visit to Bali,” says Bali Police Public Relations Chief, Grand Commissioner Jansen Avitus Panjaitan.
He explains that AALCO is a consultation forum connecting Asian and African countries. The forum was meant to build a perspective and establish joint understanding regarding to current law issues.
The main focus of this forum is to fight for the common interests of countries in Asia and Africa.
The 61st AALCO was attended by 47 states with 32 Asian states and 15 African states. Moreover, the forum also attended by delegates of 41 observer countries and 21 international organizations.
Panjaitan hopes that the forum would be able to produce agreements that are beneficial for all participating countries and will make a significant contribution to the development of international law.
