inp.polri.go.id – Performing well in sports tournament, three members of the Bandung Police received an award from the Bandung Police Chief, Commissioner Kusworo Wibowo. The awarding took place at the Bandung HQ Field. The Bandung Police Chief said that the award ceremony for the three members, which one of them is a contingent for Indonesia in Sea Games 2021, is part of the National Police’s appreciation for their contribution. "The three outstanding members are First Brigade Denri, who won two gold medals in Sea Games rowing. There are also First Brigadier Ajeng and First Brigadier Kartika who won a gold medal in the National Police Cup event some time ago," said the Bandung Police Chief. However, the Bandung Police Chief stated that these award was given only for their achievement in year 2022. "Actually, these three outstanding members have made their achievements in previous years. Nonetheless, we are proud that we have outstanding athletes such as them," he said. The Bandung Police Chief hopes that the three members will continue to maintain their performance in international events. "I would like to say to other fellow members of the Bandung Police who are good in sports to continue to hone their abilities so that you can become athletes and can make the Bandung Police proud," said the Bandung Police Chief.
