inp.polri.go.id – The Directorate of Traffic (Ditlantas) of Polda Metro Jaya has begun to implement the trial of the 13 new odd-even policy areas in Jakarta. The trial starts on Monday, 6 June 2022, until 12 June 2022. Kepala Sub Direktorat Pembinaan Hukum (Kasubdit Gakkum) of Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya, AKBP Jamal Alam, Senin (6/6/22). During the trial, the authorities would not fine the violators, but only warned them. "In the 13 new areas, we will only give them warning and an appeal. Once again, this is specifically only for the 13 new areas," said Head of Sub-Directorate of Legal Development (Kasubdit Gakkum) of Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya, AKBP Jamal Alam, Monday (6/6/22). While, the actual implementation of odd-even policy in the 13 new areas will begin on June 13, 2022. "The ticketing process begins on June 13," stated Kasubdit Gakkum Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya. As previously reported, Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya added new areas for the odd-even policies in Jakarta, which were originally only 13 areas to 26 areas. This is based on the results of a joint meeting with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and the Department of Transportation. "There are several things that we have decided regarding the expansion," explained the Director of Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya, Commissioner Sambodo Purnomo Yogo, Friday (27/5/22). The expansion of the odd-even areas follows the Governor's Regulation Number 88 of 2019 concerning Traffic Restrictions with the Odd-Even System.
