inp.polri.go.id -  On the 10th day of Operation Zebra Jaya 2022, Bekasi City Metro Police Traffic Unit distributed helmets to motorbike drivers on Ahmad Yani street in front of the South Bekasi Giant Mall while conveying the message of safe driving. "The distribution of these helmets is part of our concern for the community, especially those who were caught driving without wearing a helmet," explained the Bekasi City Police Chief, Commissioner Hengki, on Thursday (13/10/22). The police chief explained that the Operation Zebra Jaya was aimed to the people who violated the traffic law such as those who are not wearing a helmet, carrying more than a person, going against the traffic flow, and wearing a loud or non-standard exhaust. "In addition, other violations that we will dealt with includes not wearing a Safety Belt for car drivers, using a rotator, installing non-standard license plates, and drunk driving," explained the Bekasi Metro Police Chief, Bekasi City. According to the Police Chief, all of these targets were processed with persuasive reprimands because the operation was aimed to educate the people on the importance of security, safety, order and smooth traffic.
