Inp.polri.go.id - Kendal. The Mobile Brigade (Brimob) of the Central Java Regional Police held a mass corn harvest in Ngareanak Village, Singorojo District, Kendal, on Saturday as part of efforts to support national food security.
The 4.5-hectare plot produced about 8 tons of dried corn.
“This initiative is part of the Indonesian National Police’s commitment to sustainable food security. By managing productive land, we aim to provide real benefits for the community and strengthen national self-sufficiency,” said Brimob Commander Senior Superintendent Noor Hudaya on Sunday (28/6/2026)
Around 50 Brimob officers joined villagers in the harvest, reflecting strong cooperation between police, local administrations, and residents.
Central Java Police Head of Public Relations Senior Superintendent Artanto added that supporting agriculture is aligned with the Indonesian National Police’s focus on public welfare. He said that police involvement in farming shows their role extends beyond maintaining order to contributing to development and community well-being.
