Chief of National Police, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, ask all the Nemangkawi Task Force personnel to be never too lax in fighting Armed Criminal Groups (KKB), whose intensifying violence in Papua. Chief of National Police told the task force never to hesitate to chase those armed criminal groups. "I instruct all personnel in duty to keep chasing the KKB in Papua. Keep fighting. Our country cannot lose this", the Chief of National Police said. Chief of National Police addressed the statement and the Commander of National Armed Forces, Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, during the direct visit. They also asked the personnel to protect the Papuan civilians from the groups' ruthless actions. Chief of National Police also asked the Nemangkawi task force to keep moving forward and capturing all KKB members who have been disturbing Papuan's everyday life with their terror actions. "We, leader of the National Police, ready to support any measures of law enforcement in Papua. Let's keep Papua from the attack or pressure of any groups", the Chief of National Police said. Chief of Nemangkawi Operation, Police Brigadier General Roycke Harry Langie, said that the attack launched by these terrorist group create fear in not only the settler people but also native Papuans. Police and Armed Forces, as the frontline of Indonesian defence, will not just stand by. "Guarding our beloved Indonesia is final. We will keep hunting them (KKB) with all risks. Law enforcement is above everything. Papua and Papuans must live in peace and prosper and free from the threats and terrors that keep haunting Papuans", Police Brigadier General Roycke Harry said. In accordance with the Chief of Police's statement, the Chief of PR and Press Division of Indonesian National Police, Police Inspector General Prabowo Argo Yuwono, encourages the KKB group members to build Papua together. "We invite people in there (KKB groups) to go out and hand-in-hand developing Papua. We allow you to do so", Police Inspector General Prabowo Argo Yuwono said at Great Headquarters of the Indonesian National Police, Jakarta. Chief of PR and Press Division also added that the joint team tasked to eradicate KKB in Papua always priorities a soft approach through dialogue rather than a hard approach. "The most important is that we open dialogue options. We are also conducting Noken Community Development Unit (Binmas Noken) and also Teritorial programme of the Indonesian Army. We are there to educate the public", he concluded.
