Inp.polri.go.id - Tomohon. China, Japan and South Korea participated in the flower-decorated vehicle parade at the Tomohon International Flower Festival (TIFF) in North Sulawesi on Saturday (10/8/2024).. 

China, Japan, and South Korea showcased their floats decorated with chrysanthemums, according to antaranews.com.

Karel Lala, the Head of the Agriculture Office in Tomohon, said that over twenty floats featured 230,000 chrysanthemum stems, cultivated by 35 farming groups and individuals with the help of 60 decorators.

The local administration remained committed to promoting chrysanthemums and improving the livelihoods of flower farmers through TIFF. This event not only highlighted Tomohon as a Flower City but also aimed to boost the export potential of local chrysanthemums.

In addition to the participating countries, other notable participants included the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, the Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection, and various banks and institutions.
