Grand Commissioner Firman Santyabudi reminded that during the Christmas and New Year's Holidays, the flow of vehicles experienced an increase for road users to pay attention to the route to be taken during the Christmas and New Year holiday season amid extreme weather and rain accompanied by wind. Several regions in Indonesia have the potential for extreme weather that can disrupt travel and the safety of road users. "Stakeholders must pay attention to the condition of the infrastructure that motorists pass. Given the current conditions that are entering extreme weather," explained the Chief of Traffic Corps', Tuesday (12/28/21). Some potential travel disturbances are due to extreme weather, such as landslides and reduced visibility during heavy rains due to splashing water from other vehicle tires. "We also urge people who want to travel to plan their trips with careful preparation and remain disciplined about health protocols to prevent the risk of being exposed to Covid-19," explained Chief of Traffic Corps.'
