inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Budi Gunawan welcomed the post and complaint channel opened by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka named “Lapor Mas Wapres”.
Budi assessed that the complaint channel could accelerate the government's response to problems faced by the community.
“He wants to hear people’s complaints who may have yet to be responded to by the state institutions or other public services. So, in short, he just wants to help, to give his direct actions. And I think that is great,” said Budi on Tuesday (11/12/2024).
Budi however noted that in general all ministries/institutions have complaint channels and a system for following up on public complaints. But, with the existence of “Lapor Mas Wapres”, it will strengthen the mechanism for handling public complaints that have been running in ministries/institutions.
As of November 11, 2024, Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka has launched a post and complaint channel “Lapor Mas Wapres” for the public, which operates Monday - Friday from 08.00 WIB - 14.00 WIB.
People can voice their concerns and complaints to the Vice President directly by going to the post located at the Vice Presidential Secretariat Building, Vice Presidential Palace Complex. Apart from that, residents can also send messages via WhatsApp to the number 081117042207.
On the first day of operation, “Lapor Mas Wapres” received 60 public complaints.
In the process, the Vice President’s Secretariat team collected all incoming complaints and coordinated with relevant ministries/institutions to follow up on the complaints.
Residents who reported their problems to “Lapor Mas Wapres” then received an ID number that could be used to check the status of their reports/complaints via WhatsApp or the official website of the Vice President’s Secretariat setwapreslapor.go.id.
