Indonesian Cycling Federation (ISSI) Chairman and Chief of the Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief and General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has vowed to make the nation’s cyclists competitive at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics, marking a new era for the country’s cycling ambitions.
“This congress is a strategic moment to set our four-year roadmap. We aim to prepare athletes who are not only physically strong but mentally resilient and disciplined as true champions,” he said during the opening of the National Congress of the Indonesian Cycling Federation (ISSI) on Thursday (30/10/2025), as reported by antaranews.com.
Under his 2021–2025 leadership, Indonesia has secured 70 gold, 76 silver, and 48 bronze medals in global competitions.ISSI is also advancing sports science-based training and developing key infrastructure, including the world’s longest BMX Supercross circuit in Banyuwangi.
Chief Sigit, running unopposed for the 2025–2029 term, pledged organizational modernization aligned with international standards and strengthened national competitions.
