Inp.polri.go.id – Papua. The Damai Cartensz Task Force is still investigating the video of the armed criminal group (KKB) led by Egianus Kogoya threatening to shoot the Susi Air pilot, Captain Philips Mark Martens.

"We are still investigating the circulating video (about the KKB threatening to shoot Pilot Susi Air)," said the Chief of the Damai Cartenz 2023 Operations Public Relations Task Force, Police Senior Superintendent Donny Charles Go, Saturday (27/5/2023).

His party will also cooperate with several experts to explore the contents of the threat video. "Use the expert too for details about the video," he added.

Police Senior Superintendent Donny Charles has not yet responded to the appearance of the video because negotiations with the KKB regarding the release of Captain Philips were deemed to have failed. He stated that currently his party is only focused on exploring the video.

"Still focus on the video first," he explained.

Previously, a video with a duration of 1 minute and 11 seconds circulated showing Egianus conveying that he had given the country two months to negotiate the release of Captain Philip Mark Mertens.

"If there is no discussion, then we will shoot the pilot," said Egianus in the video.
